So, it’s been awhile. I’ve been meaning to write. Like every day. But a girl has more important things to do! Highlights:
Teen Choice Awards: Well, this was awhile ago now. I was trying to wait until I got the pictures but SOMEONE hasn’t sent them to me. It was freaking awesome…performances by Selena, Bruno, One Republic, and probably more that I’m forgetting. Some unforgettable awards moments? The Kardashian family introduction with Kendall and Kylie towering over Kim and Kourt, obvious from a mile away. The unforgettable dance moves of Biebs in the front row as his one-and-only sings “Love You Like a Love Song.” Demi’s first awards show appearance since her downfall. Kaley Cuoco’s hilarious hosting, giving us older viewers some John-Ritter-on-8-Simple-Rules nostalgia. Fortunately, there were some other more personalized moments that made it a little more memorable for me. Meeting the casts of Glee and Glee Project, sitting behind the aisle that all the celebs walked down to and from the stage, miscellaneous other introductions to some randoms and some not-so-randoms.
Teen Choice Awards After Party: You are formally invited to Official Teen Choice Awards After Party at Rolling Stones Hollywood. Well, alright. A few more D-list sightings (Kyle Massey…my fav) and a couple A-listers. Did I mention dancing with, well, next to, Puck? Because we did. Top moment? Me, Stella, and some kid star from Disney Channel’s Shake it Up rapping “Look At Me Now” with the whole club cheering us on.
End of Internship/Left LA: Goodbye, Cross Coast. Everybody keep your eyes open for Socialite Nation, launching this month! Enter for the chance to win a night with the socialites at SocialiteNation.com. Want to know about life as a socialite like Jenn Bunney (The Hills), Jessica Hall (Playboy bunny/model), Michael Copon (One Tree Hill actor and musician), Courtney Sheber (Tempe12), Shane Keough (Real Housewives of OC), Frank Bell (musician), Katie Cleary (model), Michael Dean Shelton (socialite and philanthropist), Natalie Getz (Bachelor Pad winner), and Setorii Pond (designer)? OK well there’s my pitch…Kevin would be proud. But really, it’s going to be awesome. Anyway, we had a wonderful goodbye dinner at Katsuya and sadly waved as we headed out of the City of Angels.
Roadtrip USA: One California girl, one Bostonian, and one Slovenian take over Route 66. Grand Canyon. Santa Fe. Dallas. New Orleans. Finishing it all up with an unforgettable night at the Grove. Sweet as, bro!
Back in Miami: Thank GOD!!! Obsessed with this place. Have already had a couple crazy nights and can’t wait for a year more. On top of that, I’m interning at the coolest PR firm ever. Working at a music festival this weekend and a Vogue event next week. I’m a happy girl :-)
